WHO WE ARE
Meet the INGROUP
Born and bred in the Southwest, this girl brings a big state mentality to our team. Playing Division 1 Volleyball brought this desert dreamer to the Nutmeg State where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations from Quinnipiac University. Kristen began honing her eye for design and PR well before walking across the stage with her Diploma, at one of Connecticut's largest real estate firms.
Years later, her passion for sports and helping others soon landed her in the role of community relations and business development for international non-profit, The Special Olympics.
After a move to New York City, she went back to her PR routes and landed a career with the public relations arm of Tokyo based Dentsu, Inc. Here she had the opportunity to position and market some of the worlds most well-known brands in the restaurant, food, beverage, and lifestyle industries.
When her husbands work led them to Hartford, she found herself back in the PR saddle, riding full speed ahead as a PR consultant for small businesses, and later, as Co-Founder of Eat IN Connecticut and INGroup Creative.
You will likely bump into her at the next restaurant opening, a charity event, or boppin' around town with her husband Michael, two children Joey & Lily and beloved Frenchie "Bad Beckham".
With an MBA in finance and a strong background in the corporate world Jeannette decided to take her management experience and follow her passion of owning her own business. Marketing and community development has always given her the opportunity to show-off her creative spirit while helping and bringing people together. With a strong passion for anything related to food, she started the Eat IN Connecticut group, sensing a need in the community for a common and safe place for both industry and non industry to communicate. From there after teaming up with another marketing expert, the agency side of the business began.
When Jeannette is not running around attending events with a drink in one hand and a plate full of something amazing in the other, she spends time with her husband and two beautiful and spirited little girls.

A few examples of how our marketing services have helped others
New to the State
New establishment would like to assimilate more within its new location. They do not have ties to the area but recognize that community support is necessary to succeed.
Our team looked for ways to INtegrate the staff in local events, organizations, and develop relationships with a network that would help them grow withIN the community. We also brought in social influential state leaders to participate in the establishment's activities.
Opening a new concept in the area
A developer is interested in bringing a new concept to a transitional area. They want to understand the market and if the concept would work.
Our team did a market study and spoke to local officials to see if the project would work within the area. We then presented a situational analysis along with our experience in working within the target market.
Business is unable to tap into the local market
Local Business is unable to connect and gain the support of its local market. After numerous attempts with various promotions, nothing seems to work.
Our team took a look at where the company was spending their time and energy, and money, and quickly realized that they were not properly engagINg with their current audience and the community at large. We helped create connections and opportunities with neighborhood organizations and surrounding towns, that helped show support and interest. We also brought in networking opportunities that established long term relationships.
Business wants to throw an event that garners the attention of the media and the community.
The team wants to engage the community with an event that will help to showcase their business and show their support of the area.
Our team helped develop a list of key media, social influencers, organization heads, and civic officers to invite to the event. During the event, we worked hard to ensure that the team was poised to engage and interact in a fruitful manner.

We recently opened four new restaurants. We began working with INGroup Creative to help promote our new restaurants ... they helped us with the grand openings ... social media ... and marketing. They have been great to work with ... energetic and really creative! We received an outstanding amount of exposure we would never have been able to get on our own. Working with INGroup Creative/ Eat IN Connecticut was the perfect jump-start that our restaurants needed.

CO-OWNER POPOVER BISTRO
We have been in business for over 40 years. Unfortunately, our business practices are now dated, and we asked INGroup Creative to help us revive what we do. They took no time to point out efficient and inexpensive ways to update our systems and find new business. We are thankful for their continued help.
Our organization was struggling with employee retention and we asked INGroup Creative to find ways to bolster the moral and improve our organizational structure. Within weeks, their ideas made significant changes! We look forward to working with them more.
This team knows how to create something out of nothing! They are always on the lookout for creative ways to highlight our business!
